Moving Along

L walked into the hospital with Selene in her arms. "I want a rape kit, a pregnancy test and a pcr test(for aids and other std's) done immediatly." L lay her down on a stretcher as they wheeled her away. 'We shall know soon enough.'

She lay still on the bed as they proceeded to test her, and then began treatment for the rape. Upon getting the results back, they read through her results. STDs, AIDS and the like tested negative, rape treatment was fine, pregnancy test came up positive. They delivered the form to L, for him to read through and then sign off on.

L read the papers over. He knew all of the hospital lingo. "Hmmm...Let her rest for now...." (1 day passes) L walks into her hospital room. "They wanna know if you want to carry, or abort." L looks at her and lowers his voice. "If you choose not to keep the child, but still have it, I know a place where he/she may go. I came from a foster home for extremely smart and gifted chilldren. They all go by letters like myself. Most become nobel prize winners, some become detectives like me, some become wealthy business men. Only one has ever become evil, and that was my fault.....so what's your answer."

She shifted uncomfortably. "I-I don't know... it'd be different than the other children... will they be able to teach my child about their Sharingan?" She asked, wondering if the school was the best place for her child. She couldn't imagine aborting it, even if it was too soon for her to have a child.

"No, they learn thier own skills at thier own rate." L smiled. "I will make sure to note that whenever it is time to take him/her there. That the caretaker will be alerted to the special eyes."

"It must be taught..." She said, sighing. "It won't develop properly if the child doesn't learn it early. They will learn too slow, and never fully have the Sharingan. I'll just keep the child... and just hope somehow I can make it through everything just fine." She had figured it would be that way. She couldn't give it to the clan, they'd kill the child immediately. However, if she gave it up, it'd never mature properly, and never be accepted, caught between being partially normal, and partially special. She was going to have to step things up, and hope she could handle everything.

"Okay...I will give you some school funding to help make the burden lighter financially. If I can do anything else just let me know."

She smiled, pained. "Thank you, so much. I really appreciate your help." She said, before wincing again. She felt so stiff and sore.
